Privacy Policy

Last updated: 12 July 2026

This policy explains what vinylrender.com collects, why, and what you can do about it. The short version: your artwork is processed in your own browser and is not uploaded to us, and we collect the minimum needed to run accounts and payments.

1. Your artwork stays on your device

The editor runs entirely in your browser. Cover images, disc images, background images and logos you upload are read locally and rendered locally — they are never transmitted to our servers. Rendering a preview or a full video involves no upload of your source files.

2. Finished files you choose to keep

When you unlock and download a paid file, that finished video or image is stored in your account archive so you can re-download it later. It is stored on our server, associated with your account, and accessible only to you when signed in. You can request deletion at any time.

3. Account data

If you sign in with Google, we receive and store your name, email address, profile picture URL and Google account identifier. We use these solely to identify your account, show your name in the interface, and connect purchases to you. We do not receive your Google password and cannot access anything else in your Google account.

4. Payment data

Payments are processed by Stripe. Card numbers and payment credentials go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers. We store only what we need to grant access: which product you bought, when, the Stripe identifiers for the payment or subscription, and its status. Stripe's own privacy policy governs how they handle payment data.

5. Legal basis and purposes

We process account data to perform the contract between us (providing the service you signed up for), payment records to comply with accounting obligations, and minimal technical logs for security and troubleshooting on the basis of legitimate interest.

6. How long we keep data

Account data is kept for as long as your account exists. Payment records are kept for as long as accounting law requires. Files in your archive are kept until you delete them or delete your account.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you can request access to your data, correction of it, deletion of it, a copy of it in portable form, or restriction of its processing. Deleting your account removes your profile, your archive and your render history. Contact us to exercise any of these rights.

8. Sharing

We do not sell your data and we do not share it with advertisers. Data is shared only with the processors needed to run the service: Google (sign-in), Stripe (payments), and our hosting provider.

9. Changes

If this policy changes materially we will note it here with a new date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
